[ Yuji had spent a long time trying to figure out what to get Raidou - he's never bought a birthday present for someone he was dating before, and he doesn't think he's that good at picking out gifts, but he's trying. He's doing the best that he can, and he thinks that the other boy would appreciate the sentiment, even if he doesn't like the gifts that are inside the box all that much.

[Raidou is someone who, since arriving on base, has been a late to bed, early to rise sort of person. Never getting enough sleep, either because he has too much to do, or too much on his mind. Probably both. A lot of his late nights happen at the nearby shrine, where he's been studying, usually left after his lessons to read and memorize the myriad rituals and ceremonies. When he gets to the front door of the base, he's not expecting anyone to be there, let alone Silco, who seems to be stuck outside and suddenly wearing... a costume? For his part, Radiou is dressed in his shrine clothes (albeit with his hat, put back on as soon as he's off duty); it's the only time you'll ever see him not wearing all-to-mostly black.]
