[ Yuji is quick to leave Eresh behind - and comfortable of course - before he rushes to chase after his boyfriend, thankful for his speed and their rings in helping track him down.
He knows that Ereshkigal was just trying to help, but with how awkward things have been and the strange new tension, plus the words she used… It’s a little much, and Yuji cannot help the flare of awkward panic that hits him as he goes down the halls.
What if everything is screwed up? What if Raidou hates him, for the situation? What if it ends up with something worse than the tension and it ruins everything?

[Raidou was most of the way back to his room when Yuji catches up with him. Once Yuji's footsteps are close, he stops, back still facing him. He's got to give himself a moment before he turns around, face still burning red from embarrassment.
He's not mad that Yuji talked about what happened to someone else - it's something weighing on them both, and Raidou's done the same with Choso. But to have it be dropped on him like out of nowhere was a bit much.

It’s never been this hard before. He’s not great with words or how he feels, but he’s never had to go out of his way to really plan out what he’s going to say before he says it. Not really. But standing here, unsure and aimless, he wishes he had some kind of script or prepared speech.

[A knock is heard at Raidou's door just after noon. It's a silvery delivery droid with bright blue eyes staring up at him, carrying what appears to be a green rubbery box with a dozen tiny holes on the lid. It raises the box towards the summoner and says the following:]
A gift from one Johnny Silverhand, rock legend: "Treat Lizzie here with care, okay? She cost me an arm and a leg."
[Whenever Raidou opens the gift, he'll be greeted with the sight of a chubby green beetle nomming on what seems to be a giant piece of lettuce. It's one of those green bugs that Raidou wanted. While it's a little bigger than Mizzie, Lizzie is definitely the same species of insect, judging from its weight and appearance.

[Raidou is utterly delighted by this. He never expected to get more than the few they already had. His, Bakugo's, Johnny's, and then Kadaj's water beetle as well. They'll have a nice little army of insect helpers soon.

Inside the small box is a single piece of citrus fruit, something with the appearance of a lime but sized up to about that of a grapefruit. Thanks, rift energy. There's a hand-written note in the box with meticulous, old-fashioned handwriting.]
I appreciate the beetle so much. Thank you from both me and the garden crops. Enjoy this piece of native Okinawan fruit, called a shikuwasa. If you like tangy and sour, eat it now. If you wait a few days for it to ripen more, it'll turn sweeter. They're really delicious. Enjoy.
